Sonia Luengo was born in San Sebastián and is currently based in Málaga, Spain. After eleven years working as a human hairdresser, she discovered her true vocation in dog grooming and began her professional training in 2010.

Following nearly three years of hands-on experience in veterinary clinics—where she developed strong technical foundations, confidence, and practical knowledge—Sonia opened her own dog grooming salon, GuauQuePelos, in Zaragoza.

​

In 2013, she entered the world of dog shows with her Afghan Hound Arwen, later focusing on poodles. Together with Sauron and Thanos, she achieved multiple national titles, including several Spanish Championships. Her competitive grooming career began in 2014, marking the start of an outstanding international trajectory across Europe and the United States.
